English translation: This month music students from Novi Most Jajce have been involved in an exciting project called ‘The BiH-India Exchange.’ The project was run by Rowan Hellyer, a youth worker and violin teacher at Novi Most Jajce and Rael Mendes, a music teacher from Mumbai, India. They are both students on the Teaching Musician Masters Programme at Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London. Through this project, music students from Novi Most Jajce and Soundspace, an Indian music institution in Mumbai have shared photos of their towns and music videos of traditional and popular music from their countries with each other through a blog. The students have then taken part in workshops where they have used the photos and videos from the each other’s countries as inspiration to write a short piece of music.
